Here’s a quick guide on what you need to do to get the green light for a Safe Restart.
What employers need to do
In order for your workers to return to work, you are required to update your workers’ residential address on MOM’s Online Foreign Worker Address System (OFWAS) and ensure the address matches the dormitory operator’s records. You must also make transport arrangements with the dormitory operator. Importantly, you must apply for approval from the sector leads, such as the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
What your workers need to do
Your workers are required to download 3 mobile applications. FWMOMCare to update their health status and report their residence location that matches the address you updated in OFWAS and the dormitory operator’s records; TraceTogether to facilitate contact tracing; and SGWorkPass to check if he can return to work.
Guide your workers to download the mobile applications
Employers, dormitory operators and workers must work together to complete all the necessary steps and clear the remaining dormitories. Please check if your workers need assistance with downloading the apps and assist them. MOM has produced instructional videos on how to download the mobile apps in both English and the foreign workers’ native languages. Please share them with your workers.
